Christensen's disruptive innovation

How come good companies fail to stay atop of their industry?

With this question Clayon M. Christensen conducts he’s research. The  conclusion leads to the concept of disruptive innovation. It seems that companies who have been admired in the past become incapable for the future. The root of the problem shows how the capabilities and successes of a large company is its own downfall. By adding a theory of disruptive growth it becomes clear how decisions (made with the best intentions) lead to a snowball effect and kill the incumbent. During this seminary we shall elaborate Christensen’s work at large, with plenty real examples.
